Day 2

  • Day hike to Tiger’s Nest for acclimatization
  • Overnight in Paro

Day 3

  • Trek day 1: Shana to Soi Thangka

Day 4

  • Trek day 2: Soi Thangka to Jangothang

Day 5

  • Trek day 3: Rest day at Jangothang – hike in various directions to explore

Day 6

  • Trek day 4: Jangothang to Lingzhi

Day 7

  • Trek day 5: Lingzhi to Shodu

Day 8

  • Trek day 6: Shodu to Domshisa

Day 9

  • Trek day 7: Domshisa to Dodena and by car to Thimphu

Day 10

  • Thimphu sightseeing: in the morning, visit Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, Takin Reserve and National Textile Museum
  • In the afternoon, visit Simply Bhutan, Postal Museum, Weekly Market and Tashi Chhodzong
  • Overnight in Thimphu

Day 11

  • Drive from Thimphu to Paro and fly out

Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek
